Our Founder
Angelica Williams
Founder/Executive Director/Maternal Health Consultant
Our Founder established our organization with two goals in mind, Eradicate Fetal and Maternal morbidity and mortality for all birthing people specifically those of queer and Bipoc backgrouns, and to also provide education, support and advocacy to communities where maternal health is often overlooked. Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana, Angelica started her birth worth journey long before completing her initial doula training in 2021. She has always been passionate and dedicated to her love of children. Her personal trauma and experience has molded her view that when we care for the birthing person and the birthing person is good, the whole family follows suit. He favorite quote of all time is an African proverb that states “ If you educate a man, you educate a person, but when you educate a woman, you educate a nation!”. This speak volumes as to her vision behind our organization.
